The LL/2-Red-FLuc cell line is a luminescent cell line derived from LL/2 mouse lung cancer. The cells have been stably transduced with the red-shifted firefly luciferase gene (Red-FLuc) to obtain a brighter Red-shift signal. By emitting enhanced light of longer wavelengths that are significantly brighter than other firefly luciferases, our bioluminescent tumor cell line allows you to visualize and monitor the growth of deep tissue tumors in vivo. After the cells are injected into a suitable mouse model, the optimized Red-FLuc luciferase can achieve more sensitive in vivo optical detection with less tissue attenuation, so you can detect tumor development earlier and subcutaneously monitor tumor growth and metastasis in the orthotopic model.
