B834(DE3)大腸桿菌表達宿主菌，感受態細胞

B834 is the parental strain for BL21. These protease-deficient hosts aremethionine auxotrophs and allow high specific-activity labeling of targetproteins with 35S-methionine and selenomethionine for crystallography.

DE3 indicates that the host is a lysogen of λDE3, and therefore carries achromosomal copy of the T7 RNA polymerase gene under control of the lacUV5promoter. Such strains are suitable for production of protein from target genescloned in pET vectors by induction with IPTG.
