Description描述：Asymptomatic; diagnosis at 34 years of age with isolated benign glycerol kinase deficiency; pseudo-hypertriglyceridemia-elevated serum and urinary glycerol; slightly overweight; borderline high diastolic blood pressure; normal growth and development; donor subject has missense mutation (1313A->G) in exon 15 of the GK gene, resulting in a glut438-to-arg (Q438R) substitution (confirmed by PCR and dot blot); LCL culture showed 5.83% of normal GK activity - refer to subject 021525-1 in publication by Dipple et al (2001, PMID 11479736).
