Morphology:

round, single cells in suspension, sometimes in smallclusters;

Medium:

90% RPMI 1640 + 10% h.i. FBS

Subculture:

split saturated culture 1:5 to 1:10 every 2-3 days; seedout at ca. 0.5 x 10⁶cells/ml;maintain at ca. 0.2-0.5 x 10⁶cells/ml; maximal density of ca. 2.0 x 10⁶cells/ml

Incubation:

at 37 °C with 5% CO₂

Doubling time:

ca. 24 hours

Harvest:

cell harvest of about 1.0-1.5 x 10⁶cells/ml
